I had the pleasure working with Jose on an rapid paced E-Com fulfillment application project, where he designed, wire framed, created UI and UX prototype for us. He is truly a talented UX designer; he is extremely creative and has the smarts to optimize business functionality on screens while keeping it aesthetically pleasing. Being in demand, Jose had to quickly shift focus from one department for another but he always maintained the attention to details doing parallel work. I had the pleasure of working with Jose for 3 and a half years at Toys”R”Us. As the senior web developer, I reported directly to Jose. Under Jose’s leadership, our team accomplished many great things for the company. One of our biggest achievements was the Christmas “Big Book” experience of 2016. Jose architected a new experience that transformed the static Big Book landing page of previous years to a dynamic transactional toy finder. Because of his in-depth knowledge and meticulous research of eCommerce UX and technical feasibility, he single-handedly increased revenue from $1.9MM in 2015 to $5.2MM in 2016.
